In 1993, Gerry Shannon co-founded Triad Properties Corporation (Triad), a Huntsville-based real estate development and operating company specializing in the development, leasing, and management of office build-to-suit projects for local, regional, and Fortune 500 companies. He later co-founded Triad Properties Holdings, LLC (TPH) as the asset holding company for Triad’s projects. Together, these entities operate as Triad Properties, which quickly expanded into a regional real estate operating and investment company.

Since its inception, Triad Properties has developed or acquired in excess of 10 million square feet of commercial real estate across multiple cities throughout the U.S. With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Shannon has successfully secured in excess of $1 billion in debt and equity to support these projects.

Before founding Triad and TPH, Shannon was a principal and shareholder at Faulkner, Shannon, Hill, and Fogg, P.C., a Huntsville-based accounting firm.

Shannon received a BBA in accounting and business administration from Middle Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant with a Real Estate Sales License in Alabama. Shannon serves or has previously served on several boards, including, Triad Properties Corporation, Freedom Real Estate and Capital, LLC, The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business (Board of Visitors), and Center State Bank (Advisory Board of Directors).
