Engineering and Infrastructure Expert Joins Firm to Spearhead Large-Scale Project Oversight
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., August 20, 2026 — Freedom Real Estate and Capital, LLC (Freedom) today announced that Morgan Murphree, P.E., has joined the company as Project Director. A highly accomplished Licensed Mechanical Engineer and Construction Management professional, Murphree brings over 35 years of unparalleled experience in large-scale infrastructure and complex facilities oversight.
Murphree joins Freedom Real Estate & Capital following a distinguished career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he most recently served as the North Regional Area Engineer. In this capacity, he provided critical engineering and operational oversight for $840 million in active federal construction projects across Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
Throughout his career, Murphree has demonstrated a mastery of design-build and design-bid-build delivery, managing portfolios exceeding $300 million for high-security military and intelligence facilities. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle—from initial design review and technical evaluation to federal contract administration and QA/QC risk management.

Murphree holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
